ISLAMABAD - President Mamnoon Hussain was pleased to approve 159 Pakistan civil awards on 14th August, 2014 and 148 were approved as special cases after 14th August, 2014 (List at Annex-I).
The awards will be conferred on 23rd March, 2015 (today) under the following arrangements:
a) President Mamnoon Hussain, will decorate 52 recipients of National Awards (Civil), including 09 foreign nationals and Pakistani living abroad, at the investiture ceremony being held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on 23rd March, 2015.
b) The Governor Punjab on behalf of President will decorate 36 recipients of National Awards (Civil) (Annex-II), at the Investiture Ceremony being held in Governors House Punjab, Lahore.
c) 27 recipients of National Awards (Civil) (Annex-III) will be decorated by Governor Sindh, on behalf of the President, at the Investiture Ceremony being held in Governor's House Sindh, Karachi.
d) 14 and 142 (martyrs 122 students and 20 staff members of Army Public School, Peshawar) recipients of National Awards (Civil) (Annex-IV) will be decorated by Governor KPK, on behalf of the President, at the Investiture Ceremony being held in Governors House KPK, Peshawar.
e) 07 recipients of National Awards (Civil) (Annex-V) will be decorated by Governor Balochistan, on behalf of the President, at the Investiture Ceremony being held in Governors House Balochistan, Quetta.
f) 02 recipients of National Awards (Civil) (Annex-VI) will be decorated by Governor Gilgit Baltistan, on behalf of the President, at the Investiture Ceremony being held in Governors House Gilgit Baltistan, Gilgit.
g) Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee will decorate 25 recipients of National Awards (Civil) (Annex-VII), on behalf of the President, at the Investiture Ceremony to be held on 25th March, 2015 at JS HQ.
h) 02 Foreign Nationals (Annex-VIII) will be decorated, on behalf of the President, by the Heads of Pakistan Missions located in the countries of respected recipients of awards on 23rd March, 2015 or later.
