ISLAMABAD - Chairman Senate Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and Deputy Chairman Senate Sabir Baloch have congratulated Raja Pervaiz Ashraf for his election as Prime Minister with the majority of vote of the National Assembly.
In their separate messages issued here, Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate said his election, as premier would help promote democracy and democratic institutions in the country.
They said that success of Raja Pervaiz Ashraf showed confidence of the masses in democracy and wished him more successes in future.
Leader of the House in Senate, Jahangir Badar also congratulated Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on his election as prime minister.
