Kaleem to lead Customs hockey team in Sri Lanka

KARACHI (APP) - Led by former Olympian Kaleemullah, Pakistan Customs hockey team will be undertaking a week-long trip to Sri Lanka starting from August 16, organisers announced here on Monday. Collector Customs Fateh Muhammad Shaikh will be heading the delegation. The tour will be undertaken on invitation of Sri Lankan Customs. Other members of the team include Islahuddin Siddiqui, Samiullah Khan, Wasim Feroze, Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Shah, Qamar Zia and Samsam Qadir (goalkeepers), Naseem Mirza, Salimullah, Naeem Ahmed, Jan Muhammad, Tasleem Usmani and Arif Siddiqui. Besides playing four matches against the Sri Lankan team, former Olympians will conduct hockey coaching clinics during their stay in Colombo. Sri Lankan Customs will be visiting Pakistan next year on a reciprocal tour.
