Five persons were killed and dozens injured in various incidents of violence that has gripped the metropolitan city, Police said Tuesday. Police sources said that unknown armed men shot and killed one person in core no 4 while one was injured as a result of firing. “A bus driver was shot dead by unknown armed men in Zaman Town while in another incident a man was shot dead at Al Asif Square in Sohrab Goth”, Police sources revealed. Police said that a man was killed and three injured including one woman at M.A Jinnah Road and in other incident one man was shot dead by unknown armed men in Karimabad. In addition, 7 persons were injured including a woman and two children in various incidents that took place in Baldia Town, Lee Market, Gharibabad and Lyari.
