Karachi - Part of an old building near Shaheen Complex collapsed here late on Saturday night killing one person and injuring nine others, reported a private TV channel.

Rescue officials said four to five people were rescued from the debris and shifted to hospital, however, many people were still under debris. People after collapse of the building part started rescue efforts on self help basis. Rescue teams later rushed to the site and began their work. People from rest of the collapsed building parts and other adjacent buildings were got evacuated.
