Top cleric arrested for TTP links

KARACHI - Law enforcement agencies on Thursday picked up a noted cleric allegedly associated with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan. According to the sources, Mufti Saleemullah, hailed form Kala Dhaka, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was running two separate seminaries. One seminary is located in Defence area while another in Dir Colony, North Nazimabad. Sources confirmed that he was on the way to home from his Defence seminary when he was picked up by an intelligence agency. Family sources confirmed that the whereabouts of Mufti Saleem was yet to be ascertained. It is pertinent to mention here that a number of other activists of defunct organisations have been picked up by law enforcement agencies and their whereabouts were yet to be located.
