Three blasts rock Karachi, two killed, a dozen hurt

Amid tight security on occasion of Chehlum (40th day of mourning) of Karbala Martyrs, three back to back bomb blasts rocked Pakistan’s largest metropolis Karachi resulting in killing of two people and injuries to a dozen others.
According to an official, first blast occurred on the route of Shia procession near Numaish Churangi area, however police declared it a tyre blast and no loss was reported.
Second blast took place on M.A. Jinnah Road, which was planted with electricity poll but fortunately no loss was reported in this blast too.
Seconds after twin blasts, third blast occurred at Orangi Town No.10 area of Karachi.
Two people were killed and 12 other wounded in this blast.
Police say it was planted with a motorcycle and exploded by remote control device.
Wounded were shifted to nearby hospitals where condition of three injured reported in critical condition which feared increase in casualties.
After these blasts, security forces rechecked routes of Shia procession although police has claimed a fool-proof security in the city.
