KARACHI - The Interior Ministry on Saturday suspended four officials of the FIA over alleged misuse of powers, it has been learnt.
This action was taken after the NADRA chairman informed the ministry about the alleged torturing of nine officials of the authority, who were detained by the FIA Cyber Crime Circle on Thursday.
NADRA staffers staged a protest and stopped working against reckless attitude of FIA personnel.
Those placed under suspension included Cyber Crime Circle Assistant Director Abdul Rauf Khaskheli, Inspector Shehryar, Amjad Abbasi and Habibur Rehman Arain.
