PML-F for free hand to police to end killings

KARACHI  - PML-F leader and Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Special Education, Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh has favored giving free hand to the Police and Rangers for bringing an end to the bloodshed in Karachi.
The police and Rangers should be given free hand so that stern action could be taken against criminals without any political consideration. He said while talking to media on Wednesday on the occasion of joining PML-F Labour Wing of certain trade union leaders.
Shaikh said PML-F was actively preparing for contesting the general elections and added that party was being re-organized under the leadership of Pir Sahib Pagara and more people are joining the party. The PML-F would emerge as a big political party after the elections, he said.
He said his party has never closed the doors for dialogue with any party. “We can hold talks to any political party,” he added.
To a question, he said sense of deprivation was growing among people of Sindh due to restricting them from getting admissions in Dow and Sindh Medical Universities. “I will talk to Sindh Governor for reviewing the admission policy.”
Mahmood Ali Khan, Tariq Zameer, Akhtar Hussain, Aamir Ahmed, Muhammad Iqbal, Gul Muhammad, Munir Khan Tanoli and other trade union leaders joined PML-F Labor Wing.
Book on Europe and Muslim world PUBLISHED: Area Study Centre for Europe, University of Karachi published a book titled “Europe and the Muslim World: Coexistence or Conflict,” authored by Ambassador (r) Shahid Amin.
The book gives a detailed account of conflict and cooperation between Europe and the Muslim world by elaborating a rich historical and cultural background of Muslim and Islamic presence in Europe and the present bias and intolerance prevailing in some European countries about Muslim immigrants in Europe.
