LAHORE - Two security guards sustained bullet injuries as gunmen ambush Member Punjab Assembly Rashid Yaqoob's vehicle near Ghora Chowk in posh Defense area late Tuesday.
Both the guards, identified as Ghulam Mustafa and Ghulam Hussian, are shifted to the Services Hospital, rescue workers said. The lawmaker narrowly survived the gun attack, which police believe could be outcome of old enmity. The Defense police are investigating.
