‘Youth ready to sacrifice for country’

LAHORE - The Nation Editor-in-Chief and NPT Chairman Dr Majid Nizami said that the new generation is ever-ready to make any sacrifice for the sake of Pakistan as it was among the pioneers behind the Pakistan Movement. These views were given by Dr Majid Nizami at a special function held with the cooperation of children’s favourite magazine, the monthly “Phool” at the Aiwan-i-Karkunaan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan.
He said that Quaid-i-Azam won the freedom for Pakistan defeating the stratagems of the Hindus and the British. Dr Majid Nizami observed that it was Allama Iqbal who presented the concept of Pakistan. He said that NPT Vice Chairman Dr Rafique Ahmad and he were the gold medalist workers of the Pakistan Movement and the first Prime Minister of Pakistan had awarded them the sword and certificate of Mujahid-i-Pakistan. He remarked that the first and foremost duty of every student is to get education.
On this occasion, Dr Rafique Ahmad said that Quaid-i-Azam always exhorted the students to concentrate on their studies. We are trying our best to impart ideological education to the youth. NPT Chief Coordinator Mian Farooque Altaf observed that Pakistan has progressed in spite of incapable and corrupt rulers. He pinned great hopes on the abilities and capabilities of the new generation. 
“Phool” Maganzine Editor Muhammad Shoaib remarked that the parents and the teachers must be respected. The girl students must follow the foot-steps of Madar-i-Millat.
On this eve, Dr Nizami gave away shields to brilliant students, teachers and other office-bearers of the Ideological Summer School. To enhance the educational, moral and ideological capacity of the students, Brig (r) Hamid Saeed Ahmad and analyst Chaudhry Muhammad Hussain will address the students on Thursday (today).
