LAHORE – Robbers shot at and injured two brothers on putting up resistance during a house robbery attempt here in Sanda police area, police sources said on Friday.
Sources said both the brothers, identified as Hameed and Umer, were entering their house situated in Sanda area when two gunmen barged into their residence late on Thursday night. The robbers held them up at gunpoint and started looting. As the men offered resistance and tried to overpower the bandits, they opened fire on them and fled away after snatching cash and gold ornaments worth hundreds of thousands of rupees. Hameed and Umer sustained serious bullet wounds and were rushed to a local hospital in serious condition. The police have registered the case.
