Nizami praises Pirs Pak Movement role

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Nazria Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami on Tuesday paid rich tributes to the religious and national services of Pir Syed Ghulam Mohiud Din. In a message, Nizami said: Pir Ghulam Mohiud Dins services were unforgettable during the Pakistan Movement. The Nazria Pakistan Trust and Pakistan Movement Workers Trust jointly organized a sitting to remember the services of the Ulama and Mashaikh during the Movement. Sahibzada Pir Syed Moeen-ul-Haq Gillani was the chief guest, while the NPT Vice-chairman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad and other guest also spoke on the occasion. The ceremony was participated by the people from various walks of life. Majid Nizami said that the Pir Mohi-ud-Din had contributed a large for spreading the message of Islam in the Sub-continent. He was the great advocate of separate Muslim identity in the Sub-continent, so he had backed the Muslim League, said the NPT Chairman. He said the NPT would also organize the ceremonies to remember the contribution of great scholars and spiritual leader in Pakistan Movement. Speakers paid glowing tribute to the Pakistan Movement Leader and said his contribution for Islam and Pakistan was a source of influence for the Muslims of the region. AIWAN VISITED: The students of the English Grammar High School, Wahdat Road, on Aghi Program on Tuesday visited Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan and saw Pakistan Movement Gallery. A ceremony was organized to inform the students about Pakistan Ideology which was addressed by the school Principal Sara Bukhari. Meanwhile, Nazria Pakistan Trusts Mobile Ideological Unit 1, 2 and 3 led by their coordinators Prof Saeed Shaikh, Abdus Salam and Nadeem Raza visited Ahmad Foundation High School, Kashmir Road, Gulberg, Government High School Main Market, Gulberg and Government Junior Model Middle School Rehmanpura respectively.
