LAHORE - Lahore Waste Management Company has resumed its campaign of awareness activities in educational institutions after winter vacations has just come to an end.
LWMC in collaboration with WWF visited Beaconhouse School System, Johar town branch along with its Turkish contractor Ozpak. Asst Manager Communication M Umair Khan and Asad Ahmed delivered lecture regarding working of LWMC, importance of cleanliness and role of responsible citizens.
Students were shown documentary on new solid waste system being introduced to facilitate people of Lahore. Moreover, students were given practical demonstration of the latest machinery i.e. mechanical sweeper & washer, used by LWMC for cleaning Lahore.
