Lahore: A young girl died after she fell from a flyover in the Muslim Town, Lahore today.
The girl was fatally injured and was shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. The deceased was identified as Tahira, 22, a resident of Kahna area. Local police suspected the girl allegedly committed suicide after jumping off the flyover.
However, a source claimed that the incident occurred after a rickshaw hit a motorcycle the girl was riding as pillion rider. The girl fall off the flyover after the rickshaw hit the motorcycle. The rickshaw driver and the motorcyclist fled the scene, the police source added.
The police have registered a case and started investigation into the incident.
