An Anti-Terrorism Court Friday framed charges on Gullu Butt allegedly involved in smashing vehicles parked outside Idara Minhajul Quran in Model Town.
As the proceedings commenced, an investigation officer appeared in the court and said that the accused had committed the crime by smashing the vehicles parked outside Idara Minhajul Quran. He said the challan had already been submitted in the court.
As this, the judge handed over the charge sheet to the accused and directed the prosecution to produce the witness on next hearing. However, the accused denied the charges and opted to contest the trial. The case was adjourned until September 24.

Separately, Gullu Butt Friday challenged his detention before the Lahore High Court. Saying that a division bench of the LHC had released him on bail but the governetn had taken him again in its custody. 
The counsel said that he was declared by the government an associate of terrorists. He said his detention was illegal and was extended without any tangible evidences against him. The petitioner accused pleaded the court to set aside his detention.
