NADRA submits NA-128 rigging case forensic report to Tribunal

LAHORE: The National Data Base and Registration Authority (NADRA) today submitted its forensic report regarding NA-128 alleged rigging case to Election Tribunal Lahore, according to which 125192 counter files could not be confirmed.

Election Tribunal Lahore head Rasheed Qamar was hearing NA-128 alleged rigging case, during which NADRA officials submitted forensic report to the Tribunal. According to the report, 8593 votes were cast on fake identity cards, while 479 votes registered in other constituency were cast in NA-128.

The report further said that 67386 votes were confirmed by NADRA, out of which 349 voters cast double votes, while voters thumb impressions are not present on 690 counter files. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf defeated candidate Karamat Khokhar had filed electoral petition against PML-N MNA Afzal Khokhar over NA-128 rigging.
