LDA compensates affected allottees

LAHORE - Alternate plots were allotted to 321 affected people and owners of plots in LDA Avenue-I through the first phase of a computerised balloting here on Saturday.
Supervised by the Lahore Development Authority Director General Ahad Khan Cheema, the balloting was held with the cooperation of Punjab Information Technology Board at LDA office Johar Town.
It was attended by a number of affected people and witnessed by the representatives of media who also participated in the process of balloting.
Additional Director General (HQ) Amina Munir, Director Estate Management Avenue-1 Nadeem Abbas Bhangu and other officers concerned were also present at this occasion.
List of these plots has been uploaded on LDA’s website www.lda.gop.pk. These plots were fully developed and owners could take over their possession in one day for construction of their houses immediately.
Director General LDA thanked the affectees for being patient throughout the long delay in getting possession of their plots. Representative of the affectees Muhammad Tanvir, allottee of plot No 583 block D, thanked the Punjab chief minister and LDA administration for making concerted efforts for resolving this long standing issue.
On the approval of the governing body of Lahore Development Authority, the post of Director Finance LDA, BS-19, has been upgraded to BS-20 and incumbent Zaheer Asghar Rana has been promoted to BS-20.
Meanwhile, LDA has declared the names of ten candidates who had been appointed against 10 post of sub-engineer (Survey/BS-11).
These include Amir Shehzad, Muhammad Sufyan Rasheed, Zeeshan Sarwar, Azher Ali Butt, Malik Zahid Ali Akbar, Muhammad Naveed Yousaf, Muhammad Awais Ali, Asad Iqbal Mian, Ahmad Junaid and Ajaz Ahmed.
