LAHORE - Renowned writer and poet Khalid Iqbal Yasir has been transferred from Pakistan Academy of Letters and posted as Director General Urdu Science Board. He assumed the charge of the Board here on Friday. He has worked as DG National Museum of Science of Technology and DG National Educational Equipment Centre. It may also be noted that Khalid Iqbal Yasir has also performed the duties of DG Urdu Science Board in the past as well for eight years. Khalid Iqbal Yasir is an eminent writer and poet and has a number of books to his credit. Government of Pakistan has awarded him Tamgha-i-Imtiaz recently to honor his literacy services.
