Pervaiz invited to attend BD congregation

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Organizers of Aalmi Tableeghi Ijtima (World Islamic Congregation) have invited PML-Q senior leader, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi to attend an International Islamic Congregation to be held in Bangladesh. Maulana Haroon Qureshi, administrator of the Ijtima at Raiwind extended the invitation to Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi on his arrival for taking part in the concluding day of the Islamic Congregation on Sunday, which Elahi accepted. While, Maulana Tariq Jamil and Lt Gen (Retd) Javed Nasir were among the people who welcomed PML-Q leader at Raiwind Ijtima. Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi along with Rasikh Elahi, Shafay Hussain, Jamal Leghari, Qasim Ali Shah, Hafiz Ammar Yasir, Maulana Akhlaq Ahmed Maulana Mudassar Ahmed and Saeed Anwar took part in the Ijtimayi Dua (Concluding Prayer) of the World Islamic Congregation. On this occasion, Maulana Haroon Qureshi while praising the services of Chaudhary Pervaiz for Islam said that he provided more than 75 canals of land for the construction of a mosque at Raiwind, which facilitates thousands of people for saying their prayers. Chaudhary Pervaiz said that it was the duty of every Muslim to play his role for the cause of daawat (preaching) and he would continue his contribution in the future. Meanwhile, addressing the concluding session of PML-Q (Youth Wing) workshop at Muslim League House, PML-Q leaders, Shafay Hussain and Raja Basharat have said, Young people are the guarantee for a strong Muslim League and Pakistan. They said that Pervaiz Elahi government has done numerous services for the people of Punjab in the fields of education and health and provision of employment.
