Stranded Pakistanis need 10,000 blankets

LAHORE - The Nation Editor-in-Chief Dr Majid Nizami on Thursday said that 10,000 blankets were needed to meet the needs of stranded Pakistanis in Bangladesh suffering from harsh cold weather in different refugee campuses.
Bangladesh Stranded Pakistanis General Repatriation Committee Assistant General Secretary Haroon-ur-Rasheed wrote a letter to Dr Majid Nizami pleading him to arrange 10,000 blankets to help stranded Pakistanis.
Rasheed said these campuses were held in Raheem Nagar, Raam Nagar, Khabsor, Geela Tila Gai, Bhindar and Rangor of Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, the stranded Pakistanis in Bangladesh will pay homage to late Rehana Majid, wife of Dr Majid Nizami, today (Friday).
