Alex Jones has said in one of his many lectures, that the demise of the US dollar is due on 24 Dec 2011. The US dollar will no longer remain the base currency for world trade/ balances. Its demand will be nil in the world. That will sound its death knell. Alex Jones also describes how the EU is trying to have a Basket of Currencies as a base currency as an alternative to the US dollar being the base currency of the world. So when the dollar collapses, the EU does not go down with it, but can float on its own currency -the Euro. The EU leaders are aware of the impending demise of the US dollar, and are rallying around the idea that the Euro stability will ensure the survival of Europe. Last Night I saw on TV, the German Chancellor Merkel stating categorically that the Euro, linked to a Basket of Currencies is very important and must be supported by the entire Europe. She stated repeatedly that If Euro goes, Europe goes. Very resonating At the same time, the public of the richer countries of EU complain that why should their hard earned money be used to bail out the lazy countries like Greece, Portugal, Spain or Italy. Also, and at the same time too, people of these four poorer countries have begun saying they want to de-link from the Euro and revert back to their traditional currencies and adjust their prices accordingly. Very national and very traditional indeed. Now, should the voices of the people of the richer as well as the poorer countries of Europe carry the day, the demise of Euro is ensured. So the threat of an alternative to the US dollar as a base currency is removed. QED One wonders whether there is a conspiracy going on, organized and financed by CIA or Washington to prolong the sway of the US dollar? Is there a financial war erupting between Europe and USA?
