August brings a sense of pleasure and patriotism in Pakistan, but this year August has come with a lot of turmoil and chaos. There is fear of political tension in the air. What our politicians forget is that they are enjoying freedom, because Pakistan is free and their survival is connected with the survival of Pakistan. People are suffering many problems with millions of displaced people in the north. This is the time when intelligent decisions need to be made by the ruling parties in order to stabilise the country.
