Roads of Lahore are the envy of any mega-city in the country; courtesy Shabaz Sharif, Chief Minister Pubjab, but M M Alam road, one of the main arteries in Gulberg, is a blot on the otherwise pleasant face of the provincial metropolis. Named after Air Commodore(R) M M Alam, the 1965 veteran fighter pilot, this road is a 'befitting' tribute to our war hero. Kudos to our city fathers. DR. SHAHID QAYYUM, Lahore, November 16.
