As international system is connected to power, prestige and security with the possession of nuclear weapons so nations want to produce nuclear weapons for their security. In the same way India and Pakistan have had an ongoing nuclear arms race. Any new weapon which India has made or procured Pakistan follows, likewise whatever Pakistan has done or developed India follows. Recently India has made its first anti missiles defense system and Pakistan has extended its counter measure attempt. The question is whether these nuclear weapons are deterrents to an Indo-Pak war or fuel? Will India and Pakistan avoid nuclear war because of these nuclear weapons, which they know can cause massive damage? We should be thankful that we have nuclear peace
