Five militants killed in SWA gunship helicopters attack

Five militants were killed and two others injured when the security forces targeted their hideout through gunship helicopters here on Tuesday.
According to official sources, the gunship helicopters targeted Barond area, 37 kilometres from Wana, the headquarters of South Waziristan Agency, and destroyed three hideouts of the militants associated with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Five militants, including important commander Mufti Wali Noor, were killed in the attack, while two others sustained injuries.
The area is consider a stronghold of the Taliban. The Taliban sources did not confirm the news of Mufti Wali Noor's death.
