A gas cylinder blast in a van has killed 13 people in  Karak district on the Indus highway today. The van was headed towards  Dera Ismail Khan from Peshawar when it suddenly caught fire after a gas cylinder exploded inside it. Among the deceased there were 4 women. 

According to police officials, the van was carrying members of the same family who were on their way to attend a wedding. 

After the van caught fire, 6 individuals were rescued and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment immediately.
