NADRA declares over 122000 votes unidentified in Tareen's constituency

MULTAN- NADRA has declared over 122000 votes cast in NA-154 Lodhran as unidentified besides making this disclosure that 728 persons had casted their votes more than one time.

This was revealed in a report evolved by NADRA which will be presented before an election tribunal on November, 6 at Multan during the hearing of petition filed by PTI general secretary Jahangir Tareen against the alleged polls rigging in his respective constituency where he had lost National Assembly (NA) seat during general elections.

Sources said that as per this report 218000 votes were cast in this constituency during general elections 2013 and 122553 votes have been declared unidentified out of this tally of polled votes while 728 voters exercised their right to vote more than one time.

The report has said that only 73000 votes have been verified so far while 189 votes were found to have been cast by the persons with thumb impressions alien to those of original voters. Ballot boxes of 14 polling stations were not found available.
