Verdict reserved on petition seeking disqualification of PML-N MNA Mian Javed Latif

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court reserved verdict today on a petition against Election Commission of Pakistan to stop proceedings on a petition seeking squalification of MNA Mian Javed Latif of PML-N. 

A voter from his constituency NA- 133 (Sheikhupura-II and Old Sheikhupura III) had filed the petition alleging that he had fake graduation degree. He said he did not qualify Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution. He requested the court to declare him disqualified. After hearing both sides, Justice Muhammad Khalid Mehmood Khan of the LHC reserved the verdict.
