LHC moved for restraining Hussain Nawaz from selling property in London

LAHORE- Lahore High Court (LHC) has been moved for restraining Hussain Nawaz son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from selling one Hyde Park property in London worth millions of pounds.

The petitioner Pakistan Institute of Human Rights (PIHR) has taken plea in the petition that Hussain Nawaz purchased assets in London through money laundering and has caused loss to national exchange.  A case of money laundering against Hussain Nawaz is already pending hearing in LHC and the court has initiated proceedings in the case mentioned earlier.

The petitioner said that due to proceedings by the court Hussain Nawaz wants to sell out one Hyde Park palace property he had purchased in the most costly area of London and devour this money.

The petitioner prayed the court to issue orders for preventing Hussain Nawaz from selling out this property. The orders has also issued that the money to be accrued out of sale of this property be deposited in national funds, the petitioner added.
