SWAT: Swat and its adjoining areas were jolted on Friday/Saturday night as a result of an earthquake having a magnitude of 4.5 at the Richter scale.

The center of the quake is stated to be in the Koh-e-Hindukush mountain range, having a depth of 90km.

The earthquake caused desperation among the locals.Large number of people came out of their homes reciting Qalma and seeking mercy of Allah Almighty. There were no reports of loss of any life or property.
