Kalat- Unknown armed men shot dead a district leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) today.
Police said at sehri time unidentified miscreants attacked house of PML-N district leader Abdul Jabbar Umerani located in Mohallah Sheesha Dagar, main bazaar of Kalat district. The assailants targeted the PML-N leader as soon as he came out of his residence to respond to the knock at his door and fled the scene after committing the crime.
The body was shifted to local hospital where a large number of people including relatives and party activists gathered. They condemned the incident and demanded the authorities for arrest of the culprits
immediately. Meanwhile, the PML-N central leadership condemned the incident and expressing grave concern over the brutal murder of party leader directed the law enforcement agencies personnel to arrest the culprits.
