Lahore- High Flood levels are feared in River Chenab at Marala Headworks, with the total water flow of four lac seventy two thousand cusecs at present.
The District Administration has issued flood warning and local people are being evacuated from the sensitive areas. Pak Army has already been called in to assist the district administration in Sialkot and Narowal areas. Meanwhile, according to Flood Warning Centre in Lahore, a high flood level is being witnessed at Qadirabad Headworks at Hafizabad at present, with the water flow of two lac seventy two thousand cusecs, which may rise up to five lac cusecs tonight. Flood Emergency has been declared in the area and all employees on leave have been called back.
