Processions and rallies were taken out, conferences and seminars were held and sweets were distributed to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW), the 12th of Rabiul Awwal, with great fervour and renewal of pledge to follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) in spirit and letter.
According to details, in Nowshera Virkan Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) was celebrated with religious fervour and zeal. A number of processions and rallies were brought out and conferences were held to celebrate the auspicious occasion across the tehsil.
Milad processions and rallies taken out from different Masjids and villages converged into main procession which was ensued by a Mehfil-e-Milad at Milad-e-Mustafa Chowk (Thana Chowk). The main Milad procession was taken out from the Jamia Masjid Shumali at 9.00am which reached at Milad-e-Mustafa Chowk after passing through Karyal Road, main Bazaar, and Chowk Maloh Chah.
Tight security arrangements were made to avert any untoward incident.
Streets, roads and Government buildings were decorated with lights and sweets were distributed in all parts of the city.
In this connection “Maqsad-e-Nabowwat” conference was held at the office of Jamaat-e-Islami.
On the occasion, JI District Gujranwala Naib Ameer Hafiz Ghulam Mustafa shed light on the life of the Last Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) and termed it a role model for the entire humanity.
In Ahmedpur East, Jashn-e-Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated in the Sub-division with religious fervour. More than 21 processions were taken out in Ahmedpur East, Uch Sharif, Chanigoth, Mubarakpur, Kotla Musa Khan, Dera Nawab Sahib and other places. The main procession was taken out from Chowk Munir Shaheed under the leadership of religious leaders - Mufti Mohsin Faizi, Syed Salahuddin Ahmed Jeelani, Maulana Abdul Aziz Faizi and Maulana Ghlam Farid Meharvi along with local PML-N leader Qazi Burhan Farid which passed through various bazaars and culminated at Chowk Munir Shaheed where sweets were distributed among the participants by TMA staff while Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran had arranged meals for participants.
Meanwhile Darood-o-Salam and Naat congregations were held in different mosques while TMA building, banks branches shops, streets and road were illuminated. The Circle police had made tight security arrangements for the maintenance of peace on the occasion.
ASP Mehroz Ali Ghauri was the chief guest at a Naat contest organised by Milad Mustafa Committee in Masjid Ali General Bus stand.
National Press Union President Ehsan Ahmed Sehar on the behalf of Milad Mustafa Committee presented a shield to the ASP.
In Burewala, People celebrated Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW), the 12th of Rabiul Awwal, with religious zeal, fervour and enthusiasm.
Eid Miladun Nabi congregations, rallies and processions were taken out and Ulema highlighted the life and achievements of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The day dawned with special prayers for the prosperity of the country. Public and private buildings, commercial centres, bazaars and streets were illuminated and decorated with buntings and banners. The traditional Miladun Nabi (PBUH) procession led by religious scholar Syed Muhammad Mehfoozul Haq Shah was taken out from Jamia Masjid Ghalla Mandi amid the tight security and it culminated at the same place later in afternoon.
Sweets were distributed in all schools, colleges, orphanages, widow and destitute homes, disabled and handicapped person homes and among prisoners in District Jail Vehari. PML-N MNA Chaudhry Nazir Ahmad, MPA Chaudhry Irshad Ahmad Arain, Burewala AC Saifullah Sajid, TMO Rana Naveed Ahmad and others welcomed the procession and offered garlands to the participants.
In Sargodha, Eid Miladun Nabi was celebrated with great honour and religious fervour. At least 131 fully decorated processions were taken out across the district while main procession emerged from Jamia Mosque Syed Hamid Ali Shah which culminated at the same point after marching different bazaars and roads of the city. Police had chalked solid security measures on the occasion. Mosques, Government and private building were beautifully illuminated at night.
NOORPUR THAL, Na’at Council Noorpur Thal organised annual Miladun Nabi (SAWW) to celebrate the birth of Holy Prophet with zeal and fervour here at Jharkil Vagon stand the other day. In this connection Vagon stand was decorated with green flags, buntings and fancy lights, a sign of great reverence and devotion. On the occasion, Qari Asad Ullah khan, Muhammad Arshad Sultani, Muhammad Hussain Naqshbandi, Muhammad Farooq, Nadeem Raza, Haider Hayat Hasnain and Mohsin Shehzad presented Naat and recited some excerpts from Seeratun Nabi (SAWW) books. Speaking on the occasion, Allama Sher Muhammad Sialvi, Allama Arshad Naveed Haidri, Qari Muhammad Ismail Sialvi and Maulana Muhammad Ramzan highlighted the significance of promotion of Islamic values and message of love, Justice and Peace. They said the massage of last Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) was based on strong social Justice and equality. They observed that Muslims had been facing problems due to not acting upon the teaching and principles of Holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW).
In Muzaffargarh, In all the four tehsils of Jatoi, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu and Alipur, Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour. All prominent buildings in main cities of the district were decorated with lights and beautiful images welcoming the day of arrival of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
On the occasion at Qanwan Chowk DPO Rai Zameerul Haq said that mission of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) was to restore the worship of the one true God, the creator and sustainer of the universe, as taught by Prophet Ibrahim and all the Prophets of God, and to demonstrate and complete the laws of moral, ethical, legal, and social conduct and all other matters of significance for the humanity at large.
Rai said that 1500 cops had been deployed in district to ensure security of the processions of Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW). He also said that Ulema, Mushaiksh and religious scholars of different sects had also been taken on board to promote religious harmony in the city. Additional force of Special branch Police, Elite Force, Lady Police, motorcycle squads and members of district peace committee along with district police will be deployed to ensure the security for Eid Miladun Nabi. Meanwhile DCO Hafiz Shaukat said that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) born in 570 CE on the 12 of Rabiul Awwal in the Arabian city of Makkah, Muslims all over the world celebrates the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with great enthusiasm, fervour and pay rich tribute to the finality of his Prophethood.
Mufti Muhammad Shafi, Syed Amir Hussain Shah, President City Press Club Dr Khalid Mehmood Zaffar Chaudhry, Rana Muhammad Afzal and others notables also spoke on the occasion.
In Bahawalpur, Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm.
The day dawned with special prayers in mosques for the solidarity, integrity, harmony, brotherhood, peace, progress and prosperity of the country and nation side by side the wellbeing of Muslim Ummah, early settlement of Jammu & Kashmir and Palestine disputes.
Various organisations had arranged different programmes significant to the occasion including Milad Mehfils, processions, conferences and seminars to highlight the importance of the day.
Punjab Cooperative Minister Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar led the main Milad procession which started from Milad Chowk and after passing through different bazaars and road culminated at its starting point.
The procession was largely attended by the faithful who were reciting Darood-o-Salam and slogans of Allah-o-Akbar throughout the procession.
Later, a Seerat conference was held at Central Eidgah in which scholars and Ulema urged to forge unity and follow the teachings of Islam and Sunnah to make country citadel of Islam and counter the nefarious designs of the anti-Islam forces.
Speakers remarked that the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) was the greatest Reformer and Messenger of Allah who changed the whole set up of Arab society with his character and gave us the lesson to gain knowledge to understand the teachings of Islam and world so we had to follow it properly for the revival of lost glory of Islam.
In Attock, Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) was celebrated with full fervour here the district. More than 45 Milad processions were taken out from different areas of the district which included four in Attock, seven in Jand, five in Hazro, five in Hasanabdal, five in Fatehjang while 15 Milad processions were taken out from Pindigheb. The police had provided foolproof security to all processions for which more than 1,400 police personnel were deployed which included six DSPs, 218 Inspectors, 250 head constables and 1,120 constables. The entire security arrangements were closely supervised by DPO Israr Ahmad Abbasi. Main function of the Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) was held at Liaquat Ali Khan Shaheed stadium which was presided by DCO Chaudhry Habibullah. On the occasion, DPO Israr Ahmad Abbasi, AC Nazarat Ali Shah, Veteran politician Malik Hakmeen Khan, DSP Hafeez Aulakh, President Anjuman Tajiran Rashidur Rehman and other notables were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Allama Ghulam Muhammad Siddiqui, Dr Qazi Amjad and other religious scholars threw light on the Sunnah of Last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) and emphasised upon the participants to follow it in true spirit. The religious scholars said that Islam gave the lesson and message of peace, love, brotherhood and harmony and never allowed bloodshed, propagation of hatred and sectarianism.
In Sialkot, Jashan-e-Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) was observed in Sialkot district with traditional zeal, enthusiasm and religious fervour.
As many as 75 central processions, 963 small processions and more than 1,100 rallies were taken out by people and religious parties in the district’s all four Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils amid tight security. More than 3,000 policemen were deployed to secure the processions and rallies.
According to details, people celebrated Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) with religious reverence and fervour, renewing the pledge to follow the true teachings of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW).The day began with special prayers for development, safety, peace, unity and brotherhood amongst the followers of Holy Prophet (PBUH). Special security arrangements were made to maintain law and order across the district.
The religious parties arranged Seerat Conferences, special ‘Naatia Mushairas’ and quiz programmes on Seerat-e-Mustafa (SAWW) were held in connection with the day. All major government and private buildings, residential and commercial plazas, markets, mosques, roundabouts and even houses were tastefully decorated.
Mahaafil-e-Milad and public meetings were held in different parts of the Sialkot district, while faithful were actively participated in the programs organized by different local, religious and social organizations.
Congregations were organized in all important places of the district where the preachers and scholars highlighted the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) besides delivering lectures on His way of life.
In Khanewal, Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated with great religious zeal and traditional Milad processions were taken out across the district amid tight security. Various religious, social and cultural organizations organized rallies, processions, Mahafil-e-Milad and Seerat gatherings where speakers highlighted various aspects of the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW). Important public and private buildings, mosques and streets in all cities were decorated with lights, green flags, buntings and banners. It’s a public holiday and all government and semi-government offices, bazaars and shopping malls remained close. Addressing the participants of a rally religious scholars including Maulana Fateh Muhammad Hamdi, Sahizada Awais Mehboob, Sahibzada Azizur ehman, Sheikh Shafique Rizvi district president Sunni Ittehad Council, MPA Nishat Ahmad Khan Daha, ADCG Ashfaq Ch, Shahid Raza Qadri, Sunni Tehreek district president urged all the Muslims to be unite for the progress of the country and the Mulsim Ummah.
In Hafizabad, Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) was observed amid tight security in Hafizabad, Pindi Bhattian, Jalalpur Bhattian, Rasulpur Tarar, Sukheke Mandi, Kaleke Mandi, Kolo Tarar and other towns across the district on Sunday with great reverence and religious fervour.
As many as dozen processions were taken out by different religious organisations which later joined converged into the main procession taken out from Milad Chowk which was led by Syed Fida Hussain Shah President Ahle Sunnat, Barrister Wasimul Hassan Naqvi, Ch Abdul Qayyum Gujjar Sabri, Muhammad Wasim Attari and other local religious clerics. The participants paraded the main roads chanting Kalima-e-Tayyaba and terminated at the Milad Chowk where the speakers called upon the believers to mould their lives truly in accordance with the teachings of Holy Prophet (SAWW).
They said that most of the problems confronting the nation were due to our deviation from the teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah. They said that the Holy Prophet (SAWW) is not only Prophet of Muslims but is Great Benefactor for mankind. It was, therefore, imperative for all of us to prove themselves true followers of Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) by adopting his Aswa-e-Hasna in letter and spirit as well as to mitigate their sufferings.
The city wore bridal look and all the local streets and thoroughfares were tastefully decorated with multi-colour flags and buntings. Images of Khana-e-Ka’aba and Masjid-e-Nabvi and beautiful arches were erected in different Chowks of the city. Several religious organisations and NGOs fed the poor with Halwa, Zarda and Palao. Public and private buildings were tastefully illuminated during the night. Hundreds of cops, Civil Defence, Rescue-1122 and Health Department personnel remained alert throughout the past 24 hours.
