Three shot dead in sectarian violence in Quetta

Quetta: At least three people, including a policeman and two real brothers were killed and a woman injured, in an apparent sectarian violence today.

Police said that the firing incident took place at Joint Road, outside passport office in the provincial capital Quetta, where miscreants opened fire at people present on the scene.

Three persons including two real brothers Hassan and Shabir belonging to Shia Sect and a cop Kala Khan died on the spot while a woman sustained serious wounds.

The assailants managed to flee from the scene, after committing the triple murder. The injured woman was rushed to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for treatment.

Meanwhile three suspected militants were arrested in Baldia Placa during a raid by FC and police personnel. Spokesman for the FC said that arms were recovered from the suspects. He said the actin was taken after yesterday’s blast n the city.
