SIALKOT: An alleged weapon supplier to banned terrorist outfits has been apprehended, during a raid in Sailkot area by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
On a tip-off, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel raided at a hideout in Pasroor Road area in Sialkot and rounded up suspected person.
The suspect was identified as Riaz, who used to supply weapons to various proscribed terrorists outfits.
CTD also recovered two hand grenades from suspects’ possession. The Bomb Disposal Squad personnel defused the hand grenades, recovered from suspects’ possession.
The CTD has registered case against Riaz under terrorist act at the City police Station.
