ATTOCK :  Three persons including a minor girl drowned to death when Swan Bridge near Tarap village collapsed because of high flood in River Swan on Saturday.
According to details, Najam Khattak along with his daughter was going to Talagang in his private car driven by his driver. While crossing the bridge near Tarap village because of high flood the bridge collapsed and the car fell into the river. As a result all of them drowned. The dead body of the driver was recovered by the locals, while search for other dead bodies was in progress till filing of this report.
Swan Bridge was built a few years ago at the cost of more than Rs 20 million. This bridge was the only source to connect Talagang with Attock district.
