Thousands of people including women and children carrying giant PTI flags and posters of Imran Khan thronged the Jinnah Stadium Sialkot to attend the massive public meeting where Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is scheduled to address the audience.
As per details, in sizzling hot weather, thousands of people showed keen interest in the public meeting, beside, showing great patience and enthusiasm while waiting for their leader Imran Khan and the other central and provincial leaders of PTI. The PTI has declared Sialkot meeting as the most successful meeting in the history of Sialkot, claiming it has made a dent in the stronghold of PML-N.
People belonging to Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Pasrur, Gujranwala and surrounding areas reached the venue Jinnah Stadium Sialkot in shape of small and big rallies and processions which were led by PTI’s central, provincial and local leaders.
The venue Jinnah Stadium Sialkot was packed with PTI workers where seating arrangements have been made for more than 20,000 people although maximum capacity of the ground is 18,000 seats. As many as 300 activists of PTI (Youth Wing) Sialkot were deputed on special security for this meeting. The water coolers have been installed everywhere in the Jinnah Stadium Sialkot, enabling the participants to quench their thirst in such sizzling hot weather.
Two separate stages were set up at the venue for the PTI’s central, provincial and local leaderships, besides, having separate seating arrangements for female party workers under the supervision of PTI President Women Wing Munaza Hassan.
Moreover, giant screens have been installed at the venue for showing live converge of this massive public meeting to the participants. All the main and link roads, streets , Chowks, important public places and the venue have been decorated with giant colourful welcoming banners, hoardings (carrying the pictures of Imran Khan and other PTI leaders), PTI flags and buntings.
Meanwhile, PTI President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said that after this massive and successful meeting, the PTI would prove Sialkot to be no more a stronghold of the PML-N.
Earlier, PTI Chairman Imran Khan held an important meeting of the party central, provincial and local leaderships at Jinnah House Sialkot and discussed several coressues. PTI President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Women’s Wing President Munaza Hassan, Punjab President Chaudhry Ejaz Ahmed, local leaders Umer Dar, Usman Dar, Umer Farooq Myere, Khawaja Arif Ahmed, Shah Nawaz Cheema, Brig (r) Muhammad Aslam Ghuman and others attended the meeting.
