MULTAN-A condemned prisoner was executed in district jail Saturday morning. Ghulam Shabbir, a resident of Jahanian, Khanewal, was convicted in the murder case of Zafar Iqbal, some 15 years ago.
After the president rejected clemency appeal of the convict, a district and sessions judge issued his black warrants for execution. The body was handed over to the family for burial.
