Islamabad- PTI Chairman Imran Khan has expressed gratitude to his supporters for extending good wishes on his marriage.
“I want to thank everyone for their good wishes on my marriage & would ask those wanting to send a gift to donate to SKMTH Peshawar instead,” Khan said through a verified Twitter account today.
Pakistani opposition leader Imran Khan married a TV journalist in a simple ceremony at his Islamabad home Thursday, ending years of speculations.
The 62-year-old PTI chief, who is father of two sons from his previous marriage to British socialite Jemima Khan, tied the knot with Reham Khan, the 41-year-old TV journalist in a simple ceremony. PTI spokesperson said there are no wedding or valima receptions. Food will be distributed amongst poor children.
