ISLAMABAD (APP) - The National Monument and its museum and Pak-China Friendship Centre has been handed over to Capital Development Authority under the devolution of the Federal Ministry of Culture. The Department of Archaeology and Museums has been given to Capital Administration and Development Division while the main cultural organizations of the ministry, Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) and Lok Virsa, The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage has been handed over to Ministry of Information. The Central Board of Film Censors has been handed over to the provinces and Quaid-e-Azam Papers Wing to the Cabinet Division. The devolution of ministry has suffered the collaboration of cultural departments for cultural promotion on international level, said an official associated with the ministry. The official said that ministrys efforts for cultural projection at international level will be suffered as the provincial cultural departments will project culture only at national level.
