JI rejects PML-N’s decision on privatization

KARACHI- Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has rejected the decision of the PML-N government regarding the privatization of the national institutions.

In a statement issued, JI Karachi Chief has strongly condemned the decision taken by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Council of Common Interest (CCI) meeting, in which the government decided to give the control of the electricity production and distribution companies to the private sectors.

Hafiz Naeem said the national institutions are on the verge of collapse due to the incompetence and misadministration of the previous and present governments.

JI Karachi Chief regretted that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had not taken any practical steps in this regard.
