‘Long march not new in county'

SADIQABAD - All the conspiracies against the PPP-led government will remain failed as such conspiracies had been foiled in the past and the long march of Tahirul Qadri could not oust the government, said the People's Youth Organisation Rahim Yar Khan president and the PPP Sadiqabad president separately.
The general elections would be held on the stipulated time, said Khawar Bajwa while talking to the media.  "Long march is not new in Pakistan. The PPP came to power with the public power and is going to complete its tenure. The PPP leaders and workers made numerous sacrifices. The PPP is the symbol of unity and the chain of all the provinces of the country," he said.
He observed that the federal government would not create impediments to the long march to Islamabad rather it would welcome and facilitate the participants in the federal capital.
Rana Nadeem, the PPP Sadiqabad president, and other office-bearers said that his party's elected representatives like MPA Ibrahim Khalil were busy serving the public. He claimed that the MPA completed development projects worth billions of rupees at his constituency PP-297. He expressed the hope that also in the forthcoming general elections the MPA would be elected from the constituency anew.
