ISLAMABAD: An Anti-terrorism court (ATC) issued an arrest warrant for former president Pervez Musharraf in judges’ detention case.

The court has ordered authorities to produce him before court on October 01.

The former president had requested court to grant him an excuse from attendance due to illness. However, the court favoured the prosecution’s opposition of the act.

Concerned authorities were ordered to arrest Musharraf and present him on October 1.

The court further said that the medical report of the former president was not attached along with the petition filed seeking exemption for appearing before the court
