Peshawar: A doctor was killed by unidentified armed men in Toda Kalay area of Peshawar, early Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Dr Zaka Ullah, incharge polio vaccination. The assailants targeted Zaka Ullah when he was returning home from the mosque, after offering Fajr prayers. He sustained serious bullet wounds. He was rushed to Lady Reading Hospital, however, he succumbed to injuries before arrival at the hospital.

The body was later shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The body handed was handed over to victim’s family, after medico-legal formalities.
