FC personnel charged with murder

QUETTA - An FIR was registered against four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel on Saturday with Bakhtiarabad Levies Station in Sibbi on the charges of killing two protesters and wounding six others.
According to Bakhtiarabad Assistant Commissioner Habibullah Kakar, local people on February 4 were protesting against the murder of the wife and daughter of Balochistan MPA Bakhtiar Domki.
He said two people were killed and six others injured as the demonstrators and security forces clashed during the protest. The deceased were identified as Ahmed Khan and Azeem Khan. The official said the FIR was registered on the request of Imam Bakhsh, a relative of one of the victims Ahmed Khan.
Sources in Levies Force said investigation was underway. However, no arrest had been made so far. But according to the BBC, the FIR says that eight security men, who were travelling in two vehicles, are involved in the killing; however, no person has been named in the case.
Taking serious notice of the tragic incident, Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani had announced formation of a judicial commission to probe into the matter.
