Multan- Three-day anti polio campaign has been started in 185 Union Councils (UCs) of Multan today.
During the campaign, 8 lac children below age five would be inoculated polio drops by 1880 polio teams comprised of lady health workers, police, civil defense and officials of other related departments.
The teams will administer polio drops to the children at several places including bus stops, government hospitals and railway stations while the remaining children will also be vaccinated on the fourth day of the campaign. The police have assured foolproof security arrangements for the safety of polio workers.
