QUETTA  - At least three coal miners were killed in an accident in Duki tehsil of Lorali district, some 240 kilometres north of Quetta, on Tuesday.
The miners were busy extracting coal from a mine. Suddenly, the trolley they were loading with coal went out of control. Resultantly, three miners sustained serious wounds and died instantly.
Rescue workers retrieved their bodies from the mine and shifted them to nearby hospital for autopsy. The victims were identified as Ashiq Khan, Jan Muhammad and Khan Muhammad.
It may be mentioned here that scores of coal miners have been died so far owing to the poor coalmining system in Balochistan.
