PM Nawaz Sharif has reached Gwadar port alongside Raheel Sharif for its inauguration here on Sunday (today).

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is the chief guest on the occasion.

The country’s top political and military leadership will also attend the event including Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and Islamabad-based ambassadors of several countries.

Tight security measures have been taken to ensure smooth inauguration of exports through the Gwadar Port.

CPEC dreams came true as the first Chinese trade convoy arrived at Gwadar Port through China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Contingents of Special Security Division of Pakistan Army provided security to the trade convoy.

Chinese vessels are ready at the Gwadar Port for shipment of Chinese goods to Middle East and African countries.
