HAFIZABAD - Over a dozen of litigants including six lawyers were injured when they were attacked by honeybees in the Judicial Complex here on Mondday.
The litigants and lawyers were present near a tree on the premises of Judicial Complex when suddenly a swarm of honeybees attacked them. Resultantly, they were injured by their stings. They were hospitalized in different local hospitals.
A dead body of a middle-aged man was recovered from the Jhang Branch Canal by the Rescue-1122 squad and was shifted to the DHQ Hospital Hafizabad for autopsy.
Meanwhile, some villagers spotted a dead body floating in canal near Doaba and informed Rescue-1122 which recovered it. The dead body bore visible signs of torture. However, identity of the deceased could not be established yet.
